Marshals clubnight

June 2nd will be the next marshals social evening in "The White Horse" at Silverstone. Our guest speaker will be local historic Jaguar driver Gary Pearson.

Gary has raced most models of Jaguar upto the Silk Cut Group C cars.

Once again the evening is open to all marshals.

Ian Ashley was a F1 driver around 1974 - 1977 he also raced F5000, more recently he raced TVRs and presently still races in historics. Ian has also been a pilot and participated in some sidecar races.

Stuart Turner is probably one of the best motorsport After Dinner speakers around and has previously won awards for this. Stuart has had a very long involvement with motorsport including rallying & F1 he has also written around 20 books.

Sorry rbs- not really on topic!
Hi there fellow silvertop saddelbags. Hope I get to see you when you come over.
Why don't you bring 14 of your kids over with you in a minibus, take them to Mallory and ask for tickets to get them in. I did that once; or twice; or lots of times!!!!!!!
You could be chief old marshal for the VSCC MEETING.
Look forward to seeing you.

Gary Pearson did not turn up, but was so apologetic that he had forgotten that he offered a passenger ride in the Silk Cut Jag. We held a draw and the winner was Sue Whitlock.

A big thank you to Peter Daly for standing in at the last moment (he just happened to be in the pub).
