Same regarding marques involved in Group C championship (Mercedes, Toyota, Jaguar, Lancia, Porsche) during 1980s.

absolutely right, none of us tifosi cares/cared what Ferrari are/were doing in LMS or similars.
most of tifosi don't even know...

And there's the rub! Do you follow Ferrari and go on a spending spree or do you stay in F1 and suffer the indignation of being trounced by an ex-GP2 team ? Today I think they'll have to make that choice.
Campos lodges F1 entry.

The Campos entry is as I thought nothing to do with Barwa/Addax whom took over Adrian's Gp2 team.
Campos appears to have support from Carlos Slim and some Basketball star??
Should the team happen I would imagine Sergio Perez will be one of the drivers and if Bruno Senna isn't snapped up by any of the current teams leftover, then he will quite possibly be the other as we already know that Slim is a big fan.

Indeed, rumors say that Campos team might have investments from mexican Carlos Slim, who owns Telmex, and also from spanish basketball player Pau Gasol.

So a spanish basketball player and the Mexican communications tycoon...
...who allegedly is a big fan of the Senna legacy...
...that's toradas with Mariachi dancing to samba freak !
I wonder if an all-spanish team (oops brazilians ?) is any better than an italian crew ? Certainly not for the non-latins as usual.

Current Campos now-Barwa Addax GP2 engineers could be excellent people to deal with F1 outfit. At least one of them who had F1 experience in the past.
