Welcome to the 2009 National Karting Championship!
http://www.nkachampionship.co.uk
10 Tenths members are invited to don their race gear and join the country’s biggest and most exciting karting competition.
It's open for everyone at all levels, and competitors will be split into three age classes - Cadet (8-11yrs), Junior (12-15yrs) and Senior (16yrs+).
Up for grabs for the winner in each class is a high-performance 2-stroke EasyKart, an MSA race license and free entry into the 2010 EasyKart UK Championship. And as if that wasn't enough, we’ve also hooked up with BBC Children in Need and will be offering an equally fantastic prize to the competitor who raises the most money for the charity.
Full details on how to register and how it all works are available on the website, but to outline briefly: over the next two months, you can qualify at your local participating NKA circuit by setting your fastest lap times during as many “Arrive & Drive” sessions as you like. Competitors will then be whittled down through quarter and semi finals, leaving the UK’s top 50 drivers to contest the final in November.
Good luck, it's going to be absolutely awesome!
