Wasn't Hayden a Kawasaki factory rider in US, isn't he contracted to Monster? Can see that move as a real deal by Pedercini, and maybe they can get a propoer equipment and budget for 2010.

Yes he was a Kwak rider for Monster, he won the SUpersport series for them I think too
Maybe he is taking some Kwak money with him as they have pulled out of AMA (like any sane race team)
But I somehow doubt their bikes will be as good as Birdy's
Would also like to pass on my regards to Paul as his wife was savagely attacked over the winter, some fool did this acid thing and burned her arms etc. Truly awful thing for someone to do and wishing a speedy recovery

Not sure if Roger Lee is still contracted with Monster, but he was last year.

Statement from DiSalvo:

Statement from McCoy:

Sounds pretty sad from McCoy's perspective, and you have to feel for him. Looks like he was blind sided. As for DiSalvo, he is a better supersport rider than superbike rider in my opinion. It is quite fascinating to see two ex-AMA guys on the same team on the world stage.

Disalvo is quick over 1 lap, but was soundly beaten by his team-mate Cardenas last year - can only wish him luck in 2010... Are Triumph more interested in $$$ than podiums, or they expect Chaz to be quicker this year than what McCoy wouldve been i guess!

No not cool, its the other way for me, donny 20mins and silverstone bout 1H. Shame but gotta say people must have seen it coming. Donnington only has a couple of events now and i would bet they will loose them aswell.
I will still go to silverstone but i think its a crap track to watch at

Will they use it?
The current F1 circuit seemed to produce good bike racing when it was used from 2002-2004 (particularly in 2002, when they didn't have the car park chicane), before they changed to the International in '05
Biggest shame of all though is that they didn't replace the round with Brands
