Good man for trying to get another Mini back together again after yours was stolen (bar stewards, had my trailer nicked earlier on in the year, I can sympathise with you).

Have you tried any Mini owners clubs?

Just as a matter of interest Denis, did you leave your trailer on the drive and if so did it have any security devices fitted?

It was next to my 'workshop' which is located in an collection of ramshackle buildings masquerading as a mini industrial estate.

They cut through a padlock on a gate

then a padlock on the tow hitch cover

and then a padlock chaining it to an anchor in the ground.

and then drove the whole lot past 8 bungalows full of people who would like nothing more than a punch up with some tea leaves on their 'patch'.

The next trailer is going to have a GPS alarm tracky thing on it which I am hoping Piers can build into the trailer.

Yes they do fit those I see one of Pier's the other week with one fitted. I keep mine in my yard at home behind gates but I still leave the hitchlock in. I also have one of those Bulldog clamps that are pretty good.
