Some information for those travelling Eastbound on the A14 through junctions 34 (Fen Ditton) and 35 (Stow cum Quy). The road is closed for resurfacing from 20:00 Thursday and Friday Night until 06:00 the following morning. And 19:00 on Saturday night until 07:00 Sunday morning.

Diversion is off at M11 Junction 10 (Duxford) North and South bound. A14 West bound will be sent South on M11. Then all will be sent East on A505 to the junction with A11 at Great Abingdon. Then North to Junction 36 (Nine Mile Hill) on A14. Traffic is being turned round at A14 Junction 33 (Milton) if you do not believe the signs before here. Also only works Traffic can join A14 at Junction 35.

Traffic management is starting at A14 Junction 30 (Dry Drayton).

Also the A428 is closed East bound from Madingley to Girton. With traffic being divert along the A1303 to Junction 13 of the M11. And then South to Junction 10.

Pete, there is no access for traffic on to the A14 East bound at Junction 33 (Milton) and I'll check Junction 35 (Stow cum Quay) for you on Monday Pete, but as the diversion is to Junction 36 (Nine Mile Hill) take it as no access at Junction 35 either.

Pete,

Re-surfacing work at the weekend.Should be up to and just pass the end of the on-slip at Junction 35 A14, so you'll have to use the diversion like the rest.

Just a quick note to thank whoever was working on the post at Sear on Saturday. I was driving the Spitfire and you helped me jury-rig my throttle to get back to the pits. Much appreciated!

At least I was lucky with these happening just in front of me, save me walking to them from the advanced post

And second the praise for Red Rocket, quick responce both times, well done Alex.

That would be Mark who came to your assistance Stuart.

Glad the relay went better for you and many congratulations on your first race meeting. Even driving the car to and from the meeting with all the kit on board! The true spirit of what makes Club racing so great!

For those interested in Stuart's adventure see the thread on the Historic Racing Today forum;

A very enjoyable MGCC meeting with some excellent racing and big grids, thanks to Colin and the team on Sear Saturday and Revett Sunday for allowing me to have an enjoyable and busy time on the flags for a change!

Thanks everyone involved over the weekend and to the MGCC for the Marshal's drink at the end - which was greatly appreciated.
