Had a really really good day on Saturday - reminded me why I love marshalling.
I was Observer / Incident on Post 10 and what a busy day we had - firstly, what could possibly be a record in the Caterham qualifying: 13 incidents called in during a 15 minute session - mostly spins, but a couple of minor contacts with the barriers (I'm sure Faye was getting fed up of my voice by the end of it

), two of the Fortec Formula Renaults drivng into each other on lap 1 of their first race, resulting in a need for the safety car and a snatch (that's after one of them spun on the warm up lap...!

) and after thankfully a compartively quiet afternoon, a Caterham turning into Yentwood about 100m too early to find the Post 10 flag point barriers!
Thanks to Steve who was with me and Geoff who was flagging.
Roll on Boxing Day!
