It's ok Frank, i'd like the thread to develop along the lines of the other BTCC ones, so results and comments for each round will be welcome!

Three races in particular:

-Decent results from Oulton Park, round 2, April 4, 1980 (I do have some text here)
-I haven't got anything on round 4, Silverstone, April 20, 1980
-Finally, don't have anything as well on round 7, Mallory Park, August 17

For the other races I do have results, mostly first 4 per class and part of the grid, which is similar to the other BSCC years on my site - that's OK for now.

I got 1980 and 1986-1990 Motoring News newspapers. So I will start with the 1980 season in 10 minutes as I got some paperwork to sort out first!

Sorry, I will have to do it tomorrow as my four week son is waking up now and I need to settle him for the night.

Oulton Park

It was covered by Motoring News but no results table. It said that only 13 cars turned up but I can see more than 13 drivers who took part though. I will do my best to translate it into this layout:

2301-3500cc
1) G. Spice (Ford Capri)
2) A Rouse (Ford Capri)
3) V. Woodman (Ford Capri)
4?) G Goode(not sure if he finished 4th)
5) J. Allam (Rover)

1601-2300cc
1)
2)
3)
4)

1.301-1600cc
1) C. Hodgetts (1.6 Toyota Celica)
2) J. Morris (VW Scirocco)
3) R. Lloyd (1.6 Audi 80)
4) R. Longman (unknown car?)

Geunda Fadie/Eadie(?) got the fastest lap.

Up to 1300cc
1) W. Percy (finished 6th overall)
