Can anyone advise please as to how available (or not) bodywork is for the PRS Formula Ford??

Hi Mark,

A couple of Classic FF1600 Guys run PRS cars and they have both achieved 2nd place finishes this year..

I have just emailed the PRS Drivers and ask them if they could perhaps advise you on the spares situation.

Are you anywhere near Snetterton next Saturday Sunday ? - there is a double header meeting of Classic FF1600/2000.

Yes, I'm at Snetterton next week. I'll be with Andy Powell on the Friday test, and at the races Saturday & Sunday having a good look at the Classic FF1600s because I'm interested in getting one to play with
My preference is for a Van Diemen but only because it would appear spares and bodywork are easier to get for that make, but a different make would interest me a lot if it's a good car and not a pain in the a*** to get bits for. I like the fact that the Classics have different cars competing actually, and it's not just a Van Diemen Championship.

Hi Mark,

I must admit to being a Van Diemen fan and we Van Diemen Drivers are very lucky when it comes to spares supplies - not least from URS of course..!

There should be at least 18 cars out next weekend representing a variety of makes so it should give you a good idea of what type of car you might like to acquire.

I asked this question a few years ago and I think there are moulds around somewhere. I would like some new bodywork for my RH01 when I get around to putting it back together again.

Mark - good news on the PRS spares situation from Colin Williams:

"Could you let Mark know (or post this reply on ten-tenths) parts are very easy to get hold of. I've got molds for RH02 body work, I've got access to RH01 molds and as for parts some parts are the same as Crossly 25F and 32F so straight off the shelf, Mike Wait has there jigs for all the bones, so there's no problem for bits. I see he's at Snet so if he fancy's a chat just come and find me."
