Your gaming device.

Of course this poll refers only to racing game devices as, for example, mouse+keyboard combination for 3D shooters is a must. So what do you use?

I used a joystick because I thought that it was the most "universal" device but then I realized that I only played 3D shooters and racing games so I sold my Sidewinder Force Feedback pro and bought myself a Sidewinder precision racing wheel. Much nicer for racing games indeed.....and the F1 type shifting makes GP3 feel much more real.

Will I ever learn to pay attention!?!??!?!?!?!?

Oooops....sorry....it was supposed to be a poll but I forgot to check the "this is a poll" checkbox

Anyway....the choices were supposed to be:

Joystick

Gamepad

Steering wheel + pedals

Keyboard

Minardi fan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I have tried a steering wheel without much success but, like analogue controllers, I think they just need practice. Now I love my PS2 analogue controller. I have a joypad for using with the PC, but the only game I ever use it for is GP3, because basically all my other games are mouse-controlled, ie. Sim City 3000 and Rollercoaster Tycoon.

jonboyG has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Gamepad all the way - couldn't play GT3 (or 2, or 1) without it.

I use a Logitech Wingman Formula Force Feedback steering wheel and pedals.
The effects from this wheel feels the most realistic to me. For instance, when you get a solid run up off the corner the wheel gets a little bit heavier under the weight of the car.
I've never smashed into something at over 150 mph but I think this wheel gives me the impression of how that would feel.
