For the Gold Coast 600, we have changed our drivers for the rest of the series. David Reynolds, Garth Tander and Karl Reindler have joined us full time. Former F1 and CART driver Seb Bourdais will be joining us for the international event. We'll be running special race suits and race numbers in honour of the late IRL driver Dan Wheldon over the two 300km races.
So in simple terms:
#77 Garth Tander/David Reynolds (Ford Falcon FG)
#98 Karl Reindler/Seb Bourdias (Ford Falcon FG)

On second thoughts, is it too late to change the international to be Helio Castroneves at $400k?? If not too late, Dirk's out, Helio in...

For the Tassie, Sandown and Sydney races, Warp Speed Racing has gone back to basics with a fresh look to long time sponsor Dodo Internet. Warp Speed Racing still retains the employment of Reynolds, Tander and Reindler. However we have reverted to our old numbers #8 for Reynolds, #45 for Tander and #56 for Reindler.
We have some new sponsors join us too with German computer hardware firm Fanatec, Westrac CAT, FPV, Prodrive and charities Bid4Jase and The Cancer Council.

Due to Jason Bright being ruled out; Happy Dragon Team MVMotorsport has been forced to make a change for Sandown. With the permission of V8 Supremo Antrodemus we will revert to our original line up for the final round at Homebush as we like to show loyalty to the drivers who got us where we are today.
We would like to draft Greg Murphy into Jason Bright's seat for Sandown.

Fortunately there haven't been many instances where a driver has been invalided out of a round, so I guess I have to make up a rule for that. I think in fairness, the only option is for you (and the other 8 Bright owners) to still get the points from the #8 car (ie. Andy Jones) without burning a driver change. Of course you could elect to make a permanent change instead.
Since you pointed it out, I'll let you decide whether you want to keep Brighty on to the end of the year, or send him off to recuperate on the Gold Coast while Murph continues to do the driving for your team.

Hi Antro,
Given your comments, I'll retain the "car 8" points and Bright. This then puts me on par with the other 8 drivers who have Bright and them at no disadvantage.
Cheers
Matt
