ERC Lydden Hill Rnd 1
I noticed the first draft of the entry list for Lydden Hill ERC event is online at:
www.rallycross.com (preview section)
Not bad so far, few names missing though Godfrey, Procter etc.

I thought Tanner Foust would be racing in the ERC this year? Or unless he has decided just to focus on local events.

I also thought he vould drive the complete season.
It looks like the hole Olsbergs/MSE team will be absent.
Again,ERC is in danger when Global(American)Rallycross is waving dollars to the top European drivers.

Over 20 cars in both the Supercar and Super 1600 classes, thats not a bad start, is it?

I thought he was commited to a full season of ERC as well, thats why I was a bit surprised to see Foust entered for the Twin Peaks rallycross this coming weekend, as I didn't think he'd risk the car the week before the ERC kicks off.
Given that the GRC is partially Eriksson's baby I can see him being keen to participate but, as has been said, its a shame that in doing so he seems to be ignoring the ERC rather then using the GRC to complement it. Or perhaps they are just waiting to see how many cars survive Twin Peaks before the adding themselves to the Lydden entry list?

No Worries.... It is a first list. you miss more drivers how proberbly will come like.
Walfridsson, Lysen (if he is fit enough), Holte, Anderssen, procter (when his car is ready) Eriksson and Foust. (if i'm right their ERC cars standing in Europe with the truck from Eriksson. And they use in USA different cars and the Rockstar Energy Truck to transport them).
So i think the fly after the GRC to Europe and will start both in Lydden!
i'm not 100% sure but i think this will be the way it is. Because this drivers all told in the media that the will drive a full ERC.
Same story in S1600 for Cermak, Meyer, Thorjesson, Bossard

I hope that at least Foust comes over. Eriksson and his destruction derby tactics can stay in the US. Shame to lost Jernberg though; there aren't many of last year's numbers 1 to 10.
Expect to see Lysen, Walfridsson, Godfrey and Procter (as above) and maybe Bermingrud, Van Mechelen?, Grant. Any others? Maybe Ollie O'Donovan can rent a car?
Hope to see a few more in the Super1600 (like Godfrey's fiesta, Meyer and some Belgians) and some more in the TouringCars too. The TouringCar website suggests that there are many entrants.

On rallycross.hu you can see pictures of yesterday's test in Essay from Holte and Andersson, Bakkerud and Rakhmatulin.
You can expect Holte and Andersson in Lydden Same as Walfridsson Foust en Eriksson. We spook Lysen yesterday and he told u if he is fit enough he will be there (he will test on monday).
Bermingrud is already on the entrylist.

Awesome.
What was that about if Procter's car is ready? Is it the same as last year's and just being re-built?

Will Liam Dorans car be fixed in time? After that monster roll at Lydden it looked pretty mangled - how much of that was cosmetic (body panels) and how much more serious (cage)?

about Procter. I tought the car is rebuild but not finished yet...... it will be a race against the clock for lydden ( hear this on the belgium forum).
Doran use the sparecar of the Hansen Team. So no problem for him.
After a good race at Valkenswaard i'm looking forward to Lydden!
(and France, Sweden, Belgium, Holland and Austria )
