Oh. I thought the discussion was to compare whose drivers would have the upper hand.
I doubt the drives will be anywhere near the deciding factor this year though. Audi, with double the amount of cars and the enormous advantage in experience do not need to push as hard as they used to in previous years. I'd be very surprised to see R18s crashing out.

well they might not be pushing hard but accidents are more usually caused by a loss of concentration and that is more likely to be a result of not pushing.

The Toyota drivers are just as, if not more likely to crash than the Audis.
Some of the drivers in the Toyotas have no experience of lapping traffic and none of them have race experience with this car.
Furthermore, I still believe Audi's accidents at La Sarthe last year had high elements of bad luck and could have happened to Peugeot if the roles were reversed. That's what it's like racing LMP1 coupes with GTE-AM cars.
Audi have the upper hand on Toyota in almost every regard, including drivers. The 8 car will give the Audis some competition for pole but there's plenty of quick drivers in the R18s too. And they've raced the car so many times now.
This isn't Toyota bashing, it's a realistic assessment of the situation. If Toyota get on to the podium, it's a shock, and if they win it's a downright upset.

But he is in at OAK to replace the injured Moreau. The person everyone is referring to is Sarrazin.

Least he didn't stack it like McNish! I'd like to see you drive a triple stint without an error! Smart A**e!

I don't see any reason to respond like this, he was just pointing out that he did actually "put a foot wrong" at some point, I don't think he was meaning it as an insult or comment on Ant's driving ability, and I didn't see him say he could do better.
I also don't really see what McNish's mistake has to do with Ant's, just because someone else made a bigger mistake doesn't mean that he didn't.

I know it can be hard when confronted with such things.
But remember not all remember your personal connections, and therefore don't understand your reaction.
But as Lebanza points out. I don't think the.cosmic.pope was criticizing Ant directly, but more pointing out than no one is flawless. Hey, even Mr. Le Mans has put his cars into a few walls and gravel pits
