TLD had a unit not far from me where his cars were prepared and stored and his caravan business was centred in Sittingbourne, one of the old fashion form a bye gone age of motor racing that is now sadly dead

Nice, received a thick wad of tickets yesterday (0ver 3000 pounds worth...) so our party is officially in. For tonight I've organised a 'pre-Le Mans get together' to discuss things to bring, who's driving when and with whom, also handing out packinglists for the newbees, etc. The weather is great so we'll probably have the meet in the sun at my roofterras with a crate of beer and some nicely cooled white wine.
Ans so it begins !

With the speed the Euro is dropping its value nowadays, I'd wait a week or so buying Euros.
Maybe you can spend your week in Le Mans for free!

Join the club... It's taken quite a lot of us a real effort to make it this year.
Let's just predict it'll only make us all enjoy our time at Planet Le Mans even more.

We held our equivalent evening about six weeks ago; plenty of French wine, French food and last year's race DVD up on a big screen via a projector.
Gets you nicely in the mood!

But the exchange rate is significantly better than last years.

Can I encourage people to start having a go at the prediction thread? There is no advantage to be gained from waiting......

Much as i understand your desire to get the entries in early after my poor show last year I think i will await the test day before making my predictions

Apart from seeing any (non-sandbagging) performances at the test day, and keeping an eye on weather forecasts... (yes i know it is going to be hot and sunny all week )
