Falken finds grip where nobody else can. Well that's how to market a 3-season performance tyre to 911 owners...

Only the ALMS can waste 15 min pulling one car out of a gravel trap

Well obviously I'd love if Gavin was somehow able to get pass (if they go green anyway) but you've got to be happy for Falken, mega result

Red flag out. Falken wins in GT! Couldn't be happier for the guys - Wolf and Bryan are really great as is the entire company (I've done some stuff with them and everyone from the CEO on down is unbelievably nice) - and they fully deserve it. So awesome!

Just think if they didn't waste 20min removing the beached LMPC car the end of this race wouldn't have been so boring. What's the ALMS problem with dealing with these things, are they really just that bad and uncoordinated or is it a $ issue and they are understaffed?

Don't be silly. You can't race LMP cars in that. With low ground clearance race cars they aquaplane on the floor before they do on the tyres a lot of the time. That's a lottery, and therefore totally right to red flag it.
Well down Falken - great job. Ben |

ALMS' cautions have always tended to take forever for minor offs. Is it incompitence or too much health and safety.
Of course, the ILMC/LMS hasn't been much better--at Spa during practice, it took them the better part of 15 minutes to pull an Audi R18 that only had cosmetic damage out of a gravel pit/tire wall there this year. |

Yes, but they need new Red Flag rules. STOP the clock, three years in a row an ALMS race has ended early.

I dont want my name on the autocon car. Im not risking getting attacked by angry italians.
that was quite the race...Mid Ohio despite how short is is is very difficult. BMWs salvaged a hell of a day Falken gets the win! Lizards bow out Risi Bow Out |
