Well, yes. But it doesn't clarify any of the subsequent clarifications that also need clarifying. Thanks for having a go anyway.

Following the racecraft lesson given to Mr Hamilton at Monza by Simon The Likeable, perhaps they should get the pen out pretty quick

Mr Hamilton spent most of Sunday at school apparently!
Hopefully he will have benefitted from the experience!
Really impressed by him not buying into Coulthard's witch hunt!

Michael Schumacher overstepped the maximum amount of 'change of direction' allowance by 0.3427 metres and should therefore have been given a penalty.

I agree...It was exciting but also out of order...

I thought that Hamilton tipping Webber into a spin at the Canadian GP was also out of order, but some things tend to get overlooked, don't they.

By the same token you could say that Webber tipping Massa into a spin at Monza was also out of order.
I agree there is a lack of consistency in the stewards' decisions, but in my view one of the points they should consider is whether something has been deliberately or is a misjudgement, pure and simple.

Fortunately the stewards were reasonably happy with what went on.
Button did not seem to have a problem at all and Lewis passed Schumacher using Button's move.
Hamilton has got away with much worse this season, so he shouldn't, and to be fair didn't complain. In spite of what Coulthard alleges in his article, or did I miss something here?

I think that DC has been consistant in his comments about Michael.

My view, based on the images we saw, was that his behaviour was right on the limit but arguably not over it.

That's basiclly what he also said on sunday, during and after the race.

I agree Mr V. I seem to recall him remarking on driving etiquette being a bit off but there being nothing to report to the headmaster about.

Getting back to the original question, here's an article in Brazilian which at least Bononi will be able to understand: http://blogs.estadao.com.br/livio-or...ra-da-ferrari/.
As I understand it, Button only wants to commit himself to McLaren in the short term, because in the long term he likes the thought of a move to Ferrari and, which is especially interesting, both Ferrari and Alonso are favourably inclined to the idea.

From a car developement point of view, that would be a great move for Ferrari, but i can't honestly see Fernando wanting Jenson as a team mate. Test driver maybe, but not team mate.

I dont see it that way...Button is obviously easy to get along with, races clean and safely (like Alonso) and is (on all the available evidence) good with setup and development. Nando probably fancies he can beat Jenson mo0re often than not so win-win all round.

I would agree with you here.
The problems would be, how good is Jense at Italian and do Ferrari believe he is faster or better at development than Massa, and Massa is loved by Ferrari.
Button would be good in the English markets, but less so in Brazil and the Latin markets.
