If Merchant Services have both cars out for Sebring, I think that makes 9 LMPCs on the entry list there?

The rear wing is taller as well this year from the looks of it...the GTE car is getting closer and closer to the original C6.R it seems! You can really see it in the comparison shot they have up on BBV, especially.

Here's your answer: Merchant Services already sponsored Intersport last year, but Intersport disbanded. They're taking over the cars and running it themselves, with some Intersport crew. Turns out Ducote is also the CEO and President of Merchant Services.

This must have been the team where Intersports lead engineer left to start his own team, and took much of Intersport's team with them.

It does leave some questions about BAR1. Where does the money come from now for BAR1? I suspect that BAR1 might be a part of the new Ducote team, but I'll guess we'll see.
Also, according to Dagys, Marcelli is an IMSA "gold" driver, but I guess he is "silver" by the ACO. I guess some drivers have different rankings in the different series.

The cars are 50mm wider (now 204.6cm vs 199.6cm it seems), feature dive planes at the front and a taller rear wing at the rear. Seems IMSA/ACO granted them to be allowed to run the same aerodynamics as the BMWs.
Corvette drivers have said it handles more like the GT1 car.

I just wanted to invite everyone to play the Fantasy Racing Challenge 2012 edition. It will cover all Le Mans affiliated sports car series and the first round starts at Sebring. A link to the Sebring FRC entry thread can be found HERE, and the official FRC rules can be found HERE. I hope we have lots of entries this year, and good luck to all!

Find out why Chapman will be sporting our brand on his car and team uniforms, and is excited about ONE24:
