They could ditch the second car and buy some time with that...
Dempsey is even bigger problem considering that he cannot drive anything but coupes, ruling out numerous options as well as the LMPC car

I don't think the /11's will provide many spare parts for the /12. But I do think Dyson has two /12 tubs plus spares, and two or possibly three /08(/09, /11's) with spares, so I hope they are good for the season. Can they make it to 2014 with their current stock? Will the Lola problem solve itself in the next year and a half? Will there be a P1 option for Dyson in 2014? That I do not know. (Dear manufacturers, save the sport by offering your P1 cars for sale a la the Porsche 962.)

Speedsource/Mazda have a second car to cannibalize. It's intended for engine testing, but I can see them giving it to Dempsey for spares after the initial testing program is done.
OTOH: Is there a testing ban in place in LMP2? If so having that chassis might be a smart way around that.

Lotus(Kodewa)-Mazda - that's an interesting possibility.

Maybe Dyson could ask IMSA to give (even) bigger BoP breaks for them, with an excuse that they've been delibrately slowing down in races in order to prevent crashes and usage of spare parts

Apparently the PR1 team might field second LMPC later this year; they also have brand new chassis for Lime Rock
Also, Dagys previews LRP weekend:

I guess this points to the idea that we will probably have 3 prototype classes again next year unless the merge P2/PC. I think we all agree that is too many since two of the classes have the exact same philosophies and are within 1/2% in terms of track times.

Twenty three-year-old Jonathan Summerton (US) will join them as the third driver in Sebring, and will also line up at a further three races over the course of the season.

Meanwhile on the Lola recovery front, SPEED.com has learned that two separate entities are pursuing the purchase of Lola, including a North American-based firm currently heavily involved in sports car racing.

Dyson? Would make sense to some extent. If not Dyson then perhaps Tucker, but I can't see anyone else being that interested, aside from those two teams.

Earlier rumours were mentioning Multimatic.
