simon5574 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
hypothetical 2013 silly season

Imagine for a minute.....

COT is introduced and a whole lot of new sponsors are motivated by new manufacturers and their overseas contracted drivers are ready to return to Oz...

Stick with me for a minute...

Mark Webber still wants to drive cars but something less stressful and wants to be the No.1 driver. Red Bull decide to enter Mark in the Aussie V8 series alongside Daniel Ricciardo

Marcos Ambrosefinishes runner up in the 2012 Sprint Cup Series and decide he's had enough of the states after a post race altercation with Tony Stewart. Stanley want to retain him and re introduce their brand in Oz. Marcos is entered in a 1 car satellite SBR V8 team

Will Power is forced to leave Indy Car after giving the bird to officials a second time during his 5 year probation. Go Daddy want to use Will to help launch their brand in Oz with team owner Danica Patrick.

Chad Reed takes the opportunity to attend test days with a view to joing Team Danica for the enduros.

Ryan Briscoe is lured back to the V8's by HRT in a deal that will see him assume 49% ownership of the team alongside M Skaife.

John Martin leaves the world series after a series of terrorist attacks bring an end to the series....again. Paul Morris takes the opportunity to enter John in a V8 BMW COT.

....this is just a few of the decent aussie drivers overseas that could easily return to our shores in the next couple of years...

Hypothetically - who would dominate and who would fail out of this group?

?

Although he got screwed by the late Tom, Skaife has already failed at HRT ownership, so most of the Briscoe argument is a hollow one.

The rest, is all very hypothetical!

Mark Webber will be free at the end of next year too. So will Michael Schumacher.

You reckon they would be any good?
