cavvy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Racing heritage vehicles at Sandown this weekend

Formerly Group A & C, this weekend they are heritage vehicles - where did this moniker come from, at least on Natsoft:http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/re...1/2011.SAN.R10

Wary of the politically correct these days, is this a forerunner of more to come, e.g incorporating the as yet stillborn Group U?

Who would have adopted the heritage vehicles tag for this weekend?

It was great racing.. sad to see the Skyline in the tyre fence at the last corner.

Damage was cosmetic, except for the oil cooler.

My kids LOVED Frank Bindings XD... Even got an autograph..

Didnt know cars could sign their name?

Was supposed to be there crewing at the weekend, the Sierra split a bore a few months ago and the owner has lost interest in it. Bloody expensive show car now. Although not that pretty to do that either.

V8SC decided to call the weekend, their Heritage Round, I believe this is a term they copied from the AFL, so they decided to call Group C & A, Heritage Vehicles.

I don't expect the term will be used again. I'm not aware of any plans to incorporate Group U with Groups C & A.
