Super and varied field yesterday.
Lovely to see those 2 Matra's running strongly early on, such a sweet sound, as well as some things i'd never seen before like the blue 512BB.

A good and varied entry, shame the M1 only ran on Friday.
Mr Knapfield has some stable of race cars
Will post a few pictures when I get a chance

#the classic enduro race at silverstone 6 hrs last weekend; anyone know where to get the results from?
wec site hasnt.
i read somewhere that the pole matra was 1.49.
so the question is what track did they use for that as its the same as bob berridge gp c merc and only 3 secs short of the 6 hour pole.

Pole shown as 2.02.
Results are here http://www.peter-auto-racing.com/ima...ilverstone.pdf
CER ran on the full GP circuit while the Classic field used the "historic" track layout (straight lining the Vale chicane)

Lovely Brands, lovely!
I hadn't seen a 935 since John Greasley and Rusty French ran them in British GT about 15 years ago!
Such a vast array of cars in this CER series but clearly anything from the earliest period is a bit short on breath compared to the latter stuff!

Perhaps my favourite series in circuit racing this, very relaxed atmosphere, and unlike a lot of historic stuff, these guys all seem to really give it the berries!
The cars are not all immaculate and pristine.
Really cool series and perhaps some historic series could learn from the way they do things.

Really enjoyed watching these, they get better each time I see them! It's amazing to see some of these cars again .
