Can any one give me contact details for someone who can make an ali bonnet?
I have had some quite eye-watering prices so am on the search.

Alli specificly? Its often not only lighter but cheaper and easier to do composite.

I used to watch the lads from Grandprix Metal Craft, all ex Aston Martin do this sort of stuff in alloy they were masters of their craft amazing to watch dunno if the firm is still going I know one of the partners died very young.

Hi Guys, yes I guess I should have been more specific.

I am building a 'proper' Alfa GTA converted from a steel bodied GT so has to be ali.

Wings, doors, boot lids etc I seem to be able to get at a 'reasonable' price. The prices for bonnet & roof are very scary but with any luck I think i've sourced a roof for a good price it's just the bonnet really.

It's an early 'step front' car so the bonnet is a single panel with no sharp angles except the fold round edges of course.

You could probably get it made in Cuba or India beside the road for a couple of quid
