Kevin Cooke should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
OK so this falling off in the 1st race simply has to stop, I was lying a comfortable (too comfortable?) 2nd in class when I brain faded it into the gravel.......

Lets see what tomorrow brings!

Kevin

Chigley has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

Were you practising for a new series of "Strictly come Formation Racing" on Sunday? By the way a very neat bit of opportunistic overtaking when you nipped by in front of the March? that was lapping you at Sturtees.

What guv, me guv, no guv!

Eyes on stalks the whole race as I was absolutely petrified of slamming into the side of a spinning gp 6 car and never being invited back. Had to let Mr Loader beat me (by 0.056 secs) as he did arrange this HSCC gig in the first place. Truth be known I didn't know it was the last lap or I'd have been welded to the kerb all thru Clearways up to the line.

Hopefully we'll have a much greater number of HS2 cars out at the Gold Cup meeting, at least as many as Silvestone (13 cars) and if conditions are similar to Brands we may have a couple of decent peddlers out who will mix it properly with the middle of the Martini pack.

Best of all though was the number of people who came up to us in the paddock enquiring if we knew of any HS2 cars for sale, huge amount of interest.

Regards

Kevin

That's because they are sooo pretty- amongst other things. I gave them several admiring glances last w/end! At the risk of repeating myself, I would have been interested in one a couple of years ago if they had been racing with HSCC then. Hope you can continue with the Martini invites, love to see the cars out there.

Ian,

You're top of the list. As I have a register of around 40 historic cars I'll do a round Robin.

Why not borrow your mates Tiga for the Gold Cup meeting?

Regards

Kevin

So the HS2 mob are back out in the Martini races at the Gold Cup meeting, so far 9 HS2's out of a Martini grid of 20 and if the weather stays as wet as currently predicted a HS2 on poduim is not beyound the realms of possibility.

Anyway please pop over and say hello, we are in the garages towards the pit lane exit.

Best regards

Kevin
