Hello Everybody!

We got some very nice feedback about last year's competition, so we'll be running another one this year.

I've done most of the technical work needed, and I'm just putting the finishing touches to some of the tweaks you've asked for, and issues that were raised last year.

I propose making these changes.

1. We ditch the pole time prediction. It didn't seem to be adding much, and caused some of the entry glitches. Less PITA hopefully meaning more entries and interest.

2. Reduce the points for predicting the pole sitter. Again, It seemed pretty easy and just meant you got a truckload of points for knowing Vettel is good on a Saturday. 10 points as opposed to 25 for getting the pole sitter.

3. Entry Cut-off will be 00:00:01 UTC on Quali day for every race. Basically, the other bum-ache we had last year was setting the entry cut-off for the projected start of the Quali session. Folk got a bit confused. Having it at this time hopefully means the cut-off is easy to understand, the day before Quali.

4. We could run with either a prediction of "Fastest Lap" or "Most Laps Lead".

Number 4 was the only one I haven't made my mind up about yet. So I'll put it to discussion and a simple vote.

I did as well. However, I think we're in a minority, and it did cause some unwelcome technical problems last year. I'll also hold my hands up and admit to something. I made a pigs ear of imputting a couple of the pole times last year, and it proved very difficult to spot the problem, even after we knew there was one.

I'm open to pursuasion either way, but at the minute, I'm pursuaded that we should try the competition without it.

I obviously liked everything about last year's contest but welcome any changes to complicate things for others.

Ok, 8 People voted for Fastest lap. 4 for Neither, 1 for Most laps lead. The Fastest laps have it.

With that in mind, that's how the compy is set up and live at.....
