Looking good at the present time with over 300 entries, perhaps we should see if we can arrange a minutes silence for Robert Fearnall as this is the first meeting at Donington since he passed away.

Fay, Alan,

Alas with one thing and the other (my ongoing treatment and now Bill has a bad leg that is still being "looked into") we won't be coming along to this meeting, which is a real shame as it should have been the ideal "season opener".

We haven't yet volunteered for anything (for above reasons) so hope this won't inconvenience you too much.

Hope to see you at some point during the year!

Sign-on at Donington is usually at the rear of the craner suites. Enter circuit through the paddock gate / security, and ahead turn right through the assembly area, onto the circuit at Melbourne loop. Follow the circuit round, and turn off at the inside of Redgate. Follow the track down and turn left at the bottom, and you should be heading for the suites....look for the gaggle of orange

Remember to go to the correct sign-on, it's separate for Donington ES and HSCC.

Looking like it's going to be a damp weekend... I do hope the FJs behave themselves. Last year's FJ race at the Historic Festival was a bit daft. See y'all Sunday!

I would just like to thank all of the marshalls at Donnington on Saturday. I was racing in the 500cc race and the heavens opened just as we went out. It really was a nightmare to see anything especially with the evening sun in your eys down the straights. Hope you have all dried out and as always thank you for attending to allow us to play at racing drivers.

I'd like to thank all my team in the pits! We were able to organise all the practice and racing without too many problems. And well done to the trainees that had their first experience of life in the pitlane.
