NP Rossy, glad you enjoyed it, not all weekends are like that, but hopefully you'll still enjoy them.

Great weekend on post 24. From both sides of the track. Roll on the trucks next. ;-)

Sorry for the late post but I'm a bit slow!
The ITV coverage showed a snatch truck pulling the front bumper off a car.
I'd guess that the rope wasn't attached to the bumper but to the tow strap and the tow strap came off.
So my question is - should the team should be 'told off' for a tow strap that wasn't strong enough?

Depends. The blue book requirement doesn't match reality, so it may well have met the letter of the law, but is insufficient for the ton of gravel it was also being asked to move.

For those who missed it, here's some footage, featuring our very own Stephen Green.

Wow!
Just watched the three races...fabulous to see so many Probans trackside..
There I was just thinking how Druids seemed to be safer with the widened apex when....spin, spin, spin!!...then 7 cars come to visit the tire barrier!
How about Plato in the MG6...great work..
Great racing...hope you all enjoyed it...Cheers, Mick

Hi Mick,
How are you doing.
I ctuallu think that Druids is now safer and there would have been a lot more damage done to the cars that were hit, especially the Golf, as they would have been stuck in the gravel, closer to the oncoming traffic.
