I think if I read that article correctly he is going to do this year's Spa 24 too so fair play to him for pursuing his dream.

I completely forgot about Baldy.
Nice to see he is still kicking around!

Another entry for test day is the Silicon Tech/Dempsey Racing FLM
Doesn't seem to have the man himself aboard but Henri Richard and Duncan Ende. I suppose it gives them some experience ahead of 2013, even if they will have their work cut out trying to run that Lola

E-I is the place to go for test day info at the moment.
They report that Gulf Middle East will try out three drivers at the test with a view to replacing Frederic Fatien who broke his leg at Spa.
The contenders are: Jean-Bernard Bouvet, Steve Quick and Tony Burgess.
Bouvet was last seen in '06 with Paul Belmondo Racing. Tony Burgess is the guy last seen not making it around lap one with Autocon two years ago.
Going by the performance at Spa which ever guy doesn't spin gets the drive!

ALSO
With ProSpeed not at the test day Sean Edwards and Bret Curtis will run their 10 rookie laps in the IMSA Matmut Pro car which doesn't actually have a race entry. Pilet is the other guy in that car waiting for problems to befall somebody else so they can get into the show.

Patrick is racing Mazdas in Grand-AM that weekend so that's the reason for him not being there... since he won't be able to do his "rookie laps" now I guess no LM for him, despite what Hindy kinda said at Laguna. Or does he actually qualify as rookie since his last start was 2009?
Would've been nicer if they entered the P2 car... oh well

Depends on how long you have to have missed the race in order to be classified as a rookie again. Is it 3 or 5 years?

I'm sure if they can already grant him his entry for 2013 they can fudge the rules to let him in. Don't forget he did those epic laps on the Thursday last year in the 787B. And a lap of the drivers parade on the back of a Mazda!
It would just be a question of finding a seat. Still can't believe JMB haven't announced anything yet. Implies they could be working on something...

Yeah, Zsolt Baumgartner and Plamen Kralev are probably doing seat fittings right as we speak

I remember hearing on LM that he was about to go out as we were (ill advisedly) walking on foot down to the Porsche Curves. Walk turned to a jog turned to a run but we'd need not have bothered really.

Another E-I test day tidbit.
They are speculating that Jean-Karl Vernay will be the third Loeb Racing driver at the test alongside the man himself and Nicolas Marroc. Really great team they have there if true and they should look to build that as a foundation for 2013!

I'm full of respect for the people behind the GreenGT for ploughing on with the project.
It will be shown off at the test day. Not sure whether stationary or running laps which had previously been revealed. It will also be in the village during the 24 weekend and in the Future Parade. I'm looking forward to checking it out. An ACO announcement is also set to be made on the project.
Looks like this will be in the 56th pit for 2013.

They will show the GreenGT H2 on Saturday june 2nd and then they wwill make some announce. Jean michel Bouresche, Gerard Welter and Vincent Soulignas have joined the project.
They hope the protoype to run at the Parade « Le Mans vers le Futur » before the 24 h race and after at each race of the WEC. They would lke to enter the car in the 2013 WEC. No driver announced but a doubt about Chritian Pescatori.
