TrueBlueFlyer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Grand Prix du Canada: awesome!

That's really the only way to sum up the event: Awesome!

Thanks to all those 10Tenths members in attendance that made me feel welcome, even when the Canadian immigration gave me a hard time crossing the border. I can see now how different North American events are to the rest of the world... I got to play with different positions in Australia, but whereas in Singapore I was strictly a trackie and New Zealand I was strictly a flaggie, in Canada I got to do it all as part of the rotation. On comms for the F1 practice Saturday got to call in the Maldenado spin at the wall of champions. Went on a debris run/recovery for the Formula 1600 race. Flagged the Ferrari Challenge & Porsche Cup Sunday... what more can you ask for?

See you guys at the next one!

Glad you enjoyed it. Sound as good as it was when I was last there. (My god, 10 years already).
Russ, while it's fresh in your memory, would you like to add to the Montreal circuit wiki at MarshalsGuide.com?

I watched every minute of the CGP this year and really wished I was back there. I did post 15 the first time there and that wall really does take some hammering! Seriously considering going next year! May try to persuade BS as well!

Russ, I'm glad you had fun. It really was an awesome weekend. The only weather blip was Saturday, and that was sketchy with the thunder and lightening, and not to mention my shoes, which are I hope permantly buried under the stand in 7.

See you next year.

Weather blip at turn 1 was on Friday, eh? Not every day the VIP's serve flaggies coffee in china cups off of silver serving trays.

Thanks for making the journey Russ! Maybe next year we'll work the same post... unless the same nut is making the assignments again.

Cheers,
Bill

I'll be going back to Canada in a few weeks for the Le Mans race at Mosport Will see how the border officers react to my South Florida wardrobe again

Having a hard time getting into the Abu Dhabi GP, but with so many events happening in North America... it might be worthwhile to stay put here. Although I love a challenge especially when people find it so easy to just say "no" to me.
