BRM Day 2012 - Marshal's Needed!

On Sunday, 7th October 2012, the streets of Bourne in Lincolnshire will come alive, as historic race cars drive through the closed streets of the town, to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of BRM, a racing team from Bourne, winning the world championship.

In 1999, a similar event was organised to celebrate the centenary of Raymond Mays, coinciding with 50 years of BRM, and 65 years of ERA. Motor racing fans and local people alike showed their enthusiasm by flocking along in their thousands. The event is still talked about to this day.

Many thought an event like this would never be repeated, but in 2012, we prepare to celebrate the achievements of Graham Hill and his team, back in 1962.

We need Marshal's to help keep members of the public safe along the 0.8 mile route, and to make the event successful. This is your opportunity to be part of a truly unique event.

had an email with all the details on a few weeks ago - dont think we're getting actual tickets for this one.
