I think Audi has taken the decision whether or not to go for pole from Toyota...there's no way Toyota is getting to these kind of lap times.

Those of you in the UK the Audi movie is on Sky Sports 3 at the moment. will be repeated over the next few days or so.
Also on an unrelated note, highlights of the Nurburgring 24 hours are being shown over the week as well.
Also Toyota #7 was smoking, did that have an engine problem as well?

No, I don't think so. It did that all afternoon, the car seems to be bottoming out quite heavily in the Esses.

Yeah I found that hard to believe too. Are Nissan not allowed to use center locking wheels then?

Yes they could but that type of setup would weigh more. You have the remember that the concept is to have most of the weight at the rear.
Furthermore, the front wheels will not have to be changed that often.
