I'd still like to see someone put the Qingdao track together for rFactor or something, to see what it would look like.
Anyway, on with the show at Milwaukee.

Is there any form of realistic chance it could come to Brands Hatch instead..?

Not really.
There are a few places that are being tossed around as a replacement for Qingdao:
- Pocono (Might be interesting.)
- Road America (Would be awesome!)
- Laguna Seca (Not as likely)
- Texas Motor Speedway (a second Texas race to smooth things over w/ Eddie G.)

An interesting list, I'd love to see a race at Pocono but which track can host a race at such short notice?

Interesting that the Qld Government haven't made a push for Indy to return considering there are 2 Aussies & a Qld born New Zealender in the series... Ah, the good old days are a distant past!

Isn't there a bigger "international" racing series there atm?

V8 Supercars is domestic for all intents and purposes, regardless of the pumped up name they may have gotten permission to use from the FIA.
CART drew international attention and TV viewership to Surfers Paradise, which bolstered tourism and the economy for the area. V8 Supercars (or the old ATCC) has never had the kind of pull in that domain that CART once had.
Surfers Paradise is a destination location. People would go there to visit from overseas because it is that attractive, and CART made vastly more people aware of even the existence of Surfers Paradise than was the case before that first event in 1991. The thing is, V8 Supercars on its own doesn't have a wide enough net or big enough pull on its own to do what CART did for the Gold Coast. Apart from visitors from New Zealand, I doubt any of the V8's events have a measurable international attendance except for Bathurst.

Mate, I know. However, any opportunity to take the **** out of V8 Supercars and Tony Cochrane, and I mean any opportunity, I'm going to take it!

How about they should return to Motegi... Road Course, even though it's crazy.

There's a lot about the IRL that beggars belief.
