Wild Dog should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Who's going to replace Dindo Capello?

Just saw this article on autosport: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/100506 and wondered about who is going to replace Dindo?

My bet would probably be Marc Gene because he's "old" too. Then Timo Bernhard can rejoin Romain and Loic in the other Audi.

What do you think?

Aren't Timo & Romain going to be driving for Porsche?

Since they are Porsche factory drivers, it's likely that this was their last Le Mans in an Audi.

Mike Rockenfeller? Already an Audi driver and a Le Mans winner

My guess is Audi will run 2 cars next year.

Audi will probably only run 3 cars next year. So they will have to chose between 10 drivers (Lotterer, Treluyer, Fassler, McNish, Kristensen, Bonanomi, Jarvis, Rockenfeller, Duval, Gene) for only 9 seats.

No one. You still need a spare driver. So Jarvis or Bonanomi would be my choice.

OK, so who do you drop from the race drivers and keep on as a test driver?

mcnish and kristensen need an experienced and fast driver, in my opinion duval will be the third driver of the #1, so for the #2 the natural choice will be gené or fassler, less probable rockenfeller. Bernhard and Dumas will not put their hand anymore in a r18, and for the #3 i think will be used again jarvis and bonamoni with a third more expert driver (basicly one that won't be used in #2).

Would you want to break up the trio which have just won back-to-back Le Mans? I don't see Audi doing that to be honest.

I think they promote Bonanomi up into the #2 car. He's always been touted as the 'new Dindo' by Audi and TK/Nishy. That car needed a bit of a shake-up anyway. I disagree those guys need an experienced third man. What for? A youngster might keep them on their toes a bit. And he's not going to throw it off more than Allan god love him!

I think the real question centres on the WEC seats. Because for me I'd want Loic Duval as one of my guys. He is too good to confine to just a few races a year. I don't know what his ties are with other manufacturers still?

Looking at the 4 Audi crews for this years Le Mans, i would not have put money on the only Audi not to crash was the #4.

It will interesting to see the driver lineups next season, whether they will reshuffle them completely or will retain the #1 and #2 (With a new driver instead of Dindo).
