Great to see Jensen & Lewis praising the idea on Sky TV program today! Miserable Derek Warwick ridiculing it-seems he is now president of the BRDC who of cause own Silverstone-guess he is now my most hated driver?

Nice to see McLaren instructing their drivers to say what will please Bernie as usual.
Warwick has a vested interest obviously, but he's also right.

You can't drive in London anyways without spending 25 quid or something stupid like that. Every visiter takes the tube anyways. Besides, there are thousands of hotels near the proposed race course; so why would you want to drive anyways? You can't drive into Montreal race track as well, and that place sells out every year. People from outside London will park some where and take the tube. Unlike Montreal, everyone doesn't end up at the same station or even the same line!

If that is the quality of the knowledge and judgement of the writer, I don't think we need credit his mind reading of Ecclestone.

He also believes the claims of 5 days to set up the circuit & 3 days to remove, not to mention proposing parking spectators' cars in St James park - inside the circuit! Has this man been to any race track, let alone a GP?

Your talking about a race in central London, it will make the Olympics look like minor traffic congestion.

It'd badly affect a valuable day of business on the Friday. Big reason why this won't happen.

If indeed this is the proposed circuit layout,
do you have any idea how many bus routes, that go through this part of London, will be affected? It's going to be fairly chaotic.

Put it on a bank holiday, push everything back a day and race on Monday?
I don't see this happening either, but I suspect there are people thinking about it seriously. Whether Bernie is one of them or not I'm still not sure.

The reasons why this can't happen are both big and infinite in number. The only way it will happen is if the cause is taken up by somebody here in Britain with the energy, the will, the power and the wherewithal to overcome all of this and make it happen. That person is not Bernie and off the top of my head I can't think of anyone who it could be. Can you ?
