Could be very thin on the ground this weekend. The "modified live" day on Sunday will definitely struggle I think.

Mazda's should be fun.

With entries like that how can people resist coming to see that many lunatics in Mazda's !

I'll certainly be there for the Sat (Not Sunday though - need at least one day off a month.)

Good day's racing, could happily have lived without the Time Attack practice sessions though. Really not exciting, despite the enormous power outputs. Having to scrub from post 6 to 7 to get rid of the oil laid down by one of them did not exactly improve my opiniion of them. How you cannot be aware that your engine has let go in such a big way, I have no idea. Last race of the day was cracking though.

Thanks to the team on P7 on Saturday for the company and all the work and for coping with me "wearing a different hat" to my normal one.

Much as expected from herds of mazdas with some good racing on the whole. Same can't be said for the now typical 2012 weather with the coat on/off/on/off yet again including some rather interesting moments as car/wet/corner/grass all came together to cause chaos.

Not back at Brands for a few weeks now so keep safe all and look after the place

gotta agree re the time attack, they never seemed to be trying very hard, allthough they were going much better by the end of sunday, looking at some of my photos some of them where actually getting tuition from an instructor whilst going round! you'd think that being in an evo would mean they actually can drive well allready

anyway heres a link to my photos from saturday, this is just for the BRSCC element of the day, the practice sessions for Modified Live will be in a separate set once ive sorted through them

the gallery also includes the bees nest and removal from near the marshals post at clearways, possibly post 23?, just happened to be in the right place at the right time, just edges out the Smart 4Two cup as the oddest thing ive photographed at brands this year
