Don't want to appear rude, but it's a bit of a fatuous question, really. No contest.
If we're talking about the period since the formation of BMC, then the only competition for the Mini would be perhaps the Healey 3000, which was successful in both racing and rallying, and (stretching it) the Rover 3500 in racing.
The daft thing is, BMC were generally acknowledged as having the best Competitions Department of the major manufacturers, just a useless range of cars to choose from.
