Just speculating here, but they might have a combination of owned, leased and customer owned cars.

Sorry to disappoint, but I was never concerned with how many cars they have, If I had to guess I'd say between 10 and 15 GTE and GT3s total... But as to who owns what in what series and under what conditions, i never researched.. As long as they have a prancing horse on their hood, factory support and kick ass in GTE I'm happy

I think Ric6 gots the right answer.
AmatoFerrari owns cars and lease as well, the team is very close to the mother factory which is too busy (unfortunately) with the F1 program. |

semi-related question--did Risi always own his car(s), or were they owned by investors, or some loan from Ferrari/Michelleto?

I have another question now-typically in a stituation where an investor owns the car, are they contributing only the car or also some financial support to running it, or are those costs handled by the team running it? I guess it varies by team and also potentially by car? |

Also, to add to that answer, some teams, for example Prodrive, pre-sold all their cars (the factory GT1 cars and the Lolas at least) to collectors, and the collectors got the cars when their racing careers ended.

Quite a significant 430 in terms of Ferrari history, who wouldn't love to own it? |

So is the car in one piece still?
No doubt that would be one of the most valuable Ferrari GT racers in the modern era. |

Yes it is. I think during one of the ALMS TV broadcasts they made reference to a rear fender being removed from it and borrowed after it was a already a Le Mans winner. I am speculating but I would hazard to guess either Tracy Krohn or Harrison Brix could be the owner. They helped fund Risi operations through that period.
