2014 Super Car Race Series
There's a new GT championship in Japan: the Super Car Race Series.
The three classes are GT3, Cup and GT4. Each round has two 50-60min races with no pitstops. Platinum-platinum driver pairings are prohibited. 2014 calendar: April 12-13: Motegi May 17-18: Fuji (Super Formula) June 14-15: Okayama (F3) July 5-6: Sugo August 2-3: Okayama October 11-12: Fuji Speedway (FIA WEC) |

In my opinion, the calendar is awesome for supporting the Super Formula, F3 and WEC event.

Fuji Speedway hosted the second weekend of the Super Car Race Series. Only nine cars were on the grid for the opening weekend at Motegi last month, but there were 14 cars competing at Fuji Speedway this weekend. |
