Heinz and Jos teaming up for Orange Arrows Red Bull??
Now we don’t listen to rumours… but.
Planet F1 spy network working overtime.
02/11/01
One of Planet F1’s spies happened to be in the Leafield area yesterday when he chanced upon a well known F1 driver emerging from the Arrows HQ.
We can’t tell you who the driver is but we can say that he’s German and has a penchant for tobacco, lawsuits and baked beans.
Thanks Sam!

It's been over two weeks after the Arrows-Red Bull deal was anounced ans still Enrique is'nt anounced as Arrows driver for next year, and now this??
did Red Bull finaly realise that if a driver can get results it's much better for the brandname??

Jos Verstappen already has a contract for next year, his personal sponsors(Lost Boys,TCC) have already resigned for next year. An the Red Bull deal was anounced 2 weeks ago, but Enrique still is'nt confirmed......

I think Enrique has been criticised unfairly, he outqualified Jos this year and I think he deserves a seat next year.

Enrique will probably keep his seat simply based on the fact Arrows have the Red Bull sponsorship. Without that, Enrique would be looking elsewhere for a drive.
Sadly, HHF will probably be stuck at Prost. Prost wants to keep the German, but it will depend on whether the French team can even get on the grid for next season.

Minardi would like that HHF drives for them... I don't get the arrows thing... HHF in there?
What could be worst?
Drive at prost and get paid only if you are in the points.
Drive at minardi and watch all the grid from the back at every race

Frentzen, the experienced German, is still assessing his future. He has committed to the Prost team, whom he competed for this year after being sacked by Jordan. But currently the Guyancourt stable’s future is uncertain while team owner Alain Prost scurries to find backers to help subsidise the $US30 million Ferrari customer engine contract for next season.
It is understood however that Frentzen is on a flexible deal with Prost, which could enable him to join Stoddart if the deal is right.
Some other sources suggest Dieter Mateschitz, the Austrian businessman, could also be trying to sign Frentzen to partner Jos Verstappen at Arrows. Mateschitz recently inked a new sponsorship deal with Leafield

I'm at a loss to see why Jos "The Boss" is not more admired in F1 circles. Although he was out-qualified 10-7 in 2001 by his team-mate, he consistently out-did Bernoldi in the races.
Although we do, of course, need to take into account Arrows' infamous "light fuel-load to grab the headlines" tactiics he did nonetheless perform far more overtaking moves than any other driver in 2001. If the teams are to believed and the difficulty of overtaking is one of the major factors holding them back surely this guy's record in that regard should make him hot property?
