Hit & Run in W Sussex - yr help needed please

Need your help. We lost a good friend on Monday night, Chris Clark, in a mysterious (police word not ours) motorbike accident, involving a fatal hit and run by a 4x4 at Midhurst, WSx. Chris was a great guy who worked in our motorsport business and lived, partied and raced with us. Never took chances and rode 1000s of miles on his bright yellow Daytona. Such a waste of a life - only 25.

So if you hear of anything regarding repairs to a 4x4 in the next few days in the south east, gossip, etc please let us know so we can pass the info on and catch the callous ****er who left him there. How can another human being do that? Spread the word - it could happen again... Thanks.

So stunned.

Very sorry to hear your sad news. I hope the police find the perpetrator and I hope someone on the board can help.

Have you contacted the local bodyshops or 4x4 dealers?
Good luck

Yes, Nordic, and we have some progress. Although police are still appealing for witnesses they released on bail on Friday a man and a woman but there is some confusion whether these are the people who ran him down. So we keep looking...

Indeed, R, and still we are looking - it is all over our local press and on the radio - someone somewhere knows what happened...

I've taken the liberty of posting a link to this thread in The Gravel Trap, where more people will see it.

Much appreciated, R. Spoke with police yesterday and they have lots of threads to tie up - the copper was quite upset himself and said, in true celluloid style - "Have no fear, we will have 'em" Nice to know.
