Real life showcar Pug 406 for sale?
A while back, some auto dealer was selling the genuine BTCC Pug 406 Showcar that was built by MSD, it had genuine paintjob and all the sponsors, etc.. Does anyone know the address for the website? Thanks ahead.

hmmmm is this the old style 406??? i remember seeing a show car parked outside a Peugeot dealership in Blackpool a few years ago it had the full paint scheme and sponsors but had the dealership owners name on it.
another car i saw once was a normal old shape Ford Mondeo that had been painted up in the Rapidfit paint scheme, it was at a butlins somewhere but was actually someones family car!

I thought there is only 1 style of 406? The 406 was running the green/gold Esso Ultron sponsor scheme. The car was supposedly prepared by MSD as a showcar. It was selling for something like 13K pounds which seems like a "bargain" for one looking at that size/equipment level of car?

Wasn't this about 1998 / 1999 time and I think it was a garage in Salisbury. Don't quote me on that though, I could be totally wrong.
Hmmm, think I'll move this to the Road Car forum.

The car in question was at my local dealer about a year ago, it was sold and was a regular around town. Haven't seen it for a while though.

If you're referring to it being on sale about a year ago as you mentioned in your previous post then yes, it might have been cheaper. The ad that Redshoes has posted is from about 1999 time.

WOW!! YEAH, exactly what I was looking for!! Yeah, I recall that the asking price was very good. I don't know if the asking (used car) price was cheaper than normal b/c the car was all painted/done up in sponsor colours. I thought in these rare cases, the car should be worth more!

well, i dont think it would be that good, its just mainly rice, no performance mods (wow, air con in a race car!)somehow i dont think they are real carbon-fibre spoilers (correct me if im wrong redshoes) and it too high!
if it was lowered a bit more and used the 19" wheels it would look sweet
