HSCC Brands Hatch Superprix, 22 & 23 June 2002
The HSCC will be running their annual two day meeting on the Brands Hatch GP circuit on Saturday 22 & Sunday 23 June 2002. A rare opportunity to marshal on the GP circuit. If you are free on one or other of the days (OR BOTH) we would love to have your assistance. If you have not already returned your availability form to the HSCC, please contact Philip Parfit at office@hscc.org.uk asap. Otherwise turn up on the day, gain entry with your MSA Grading Card and then come on down to sign-on. I will post signing on times and location nearer the time.

A big thank you to all those who have volunteered for this meeting following my original post. If you have not, but think that you might, it's still not too late to decide to support the HSCC this weekend at Brands Hatch on the full GP circuit.
Signing on will be in the Kentagon both days as follows:
Saturday 0730 - 0830
Sunday 0830 - 0930
If you need tickets, please contact me quickly, or pick them up (subject to availability) from Mildred Wiltshire at signing on. Entry via the Paddock Gate is by means of your MSA Grading Card.
The programme looks very good, with practice and racing on both days (and, hopefully, a lunch break).
See ya all at the weekend.

Last minute change of plan!!!!!!!!!!!
Understand this evening that signing on for both tomorrow and Sunday has had to be moved down to Hailwoods. Same times, different place.
Sorry.

A very big thank you from the HSCC (and especially Dave Gilbert and myself) to all those who turned out to marshal this weekend at Brands Hatch. We were somewhat low on marshalling numbers, and some of you had to do jobs with which you were either unfamiliar or would have preferred not to do. Nevertheless you all pulled together, the meeting ran to schedule and with great success.
OK, I know I am biased, but I thought the racing was superb, with good (sometimes enormous) grids full of wonderful cars on a classic circuit.

The polo shirt I won in the raffle was an added bonus to a good weekends racing. I hope my Jaguar driver from post 3 has deep pockets Peter?

That was pretty nasty wasn't it? At least I was kept fit running up and down the hill between 3 + 4A all day Sunday.
Good fun meeting I thought! Hope the Autosport guy comes back so we can take the p*** out of his totty-photographic skills again.
Look forward to the next one.
