Another boring eurosport thread.
Is it me being short temepered , or is Eurosport getting up the nose of anyone else with their coverage of F3000 this year.
they started off not showing it , then did show it live , then delayed , then in the evening....
but tonight according to the listings ive read , it isnt on til 11pm uk time....terrible coverage is getting on my nerves .

It's on at 6pm on Eurosport and 11.15pm on British Eurosport (both BST).

As long as I get to see the races on the actual day of the race, I don't mind.
Eurosport is bigger than ESPN, so can't show everything LIVE.

It gets worse: I tuned to Eurosport at 17.55BST to discover they were already on lap 9!

I tend to find that it delays racing for over running Sumo Wrestling or something, nothing ever starts when its suppose to the most unreliable channel in the world

exactly , if they say its going to be shown delayed coverage by a hour or so , then fair enough , but its like a lucky dip draw as to whether you get to see it when they say its on.
last round at silverstone for example , i had tickets for the GP , but couldnt go as i have been offwork with sickness etc , so already feeling fed up about that , i went online and checked out eurosprts web site..their own tv listings said that The silverstone F3000 round was on LIVE at 2pm on british eurosprt , great i thought , at least i still get to see it , even though im not a the circuit , so after F1 qualifing , i turned over to eurosport already for the race , to find it wasnt on anymore , infact it wasnt on til 7 in the evening now !!!....so for the whole afternoon , i couldnt check any of the major racing news sites as i didnt want to spoil the result . Yesterday was even worse , had to wait until 11.15pm just to see it . Whats going on ????
What makes it even funnier , was after yesterdays programme on eurosport they showed an advert praising them selfs up , it said EUROSPORT SHOWS MORE MOTOR RACING THAN ANY OTHER CHANNEL , SO IF YOUR A RACING FAN , EUROSPORT IS THE CHANNEL TO WATCH ...or something like that.
No thanks , You may have to pay for sky , but at least they show it when they say they are going to , and also they now show IRL , CART , indy 500 , some other stuff too .
I just wish Eurosprt would sort them selfs out ., This years F3000 coverage has been appauling as has pevious years of Indy car also , I once turned on the tv to watch LIVE Cart from detroit , only to find a recorded programme of international fencing on there . How many people watch that !!!!..and it wasnt even live !!!

Indeed. I turned on seven minutes early (because I know they sometimes start early) and they were well underway! Bloody annoying. For goodness' sake, how can it be so difficult to start on time?

Actually they were 15 minutes early - they showed the formation lap incident, then went to a break before coming back for the start at about 7 minutes to.
I don't know what you mean about Silverstone though? I watched that race live on Eurosport...

British Eurosport broadcast the Silverstone race at 6.30pm on the Saturday night.
But they still billed it in their digital listings as "live motorsport"...

thats right , and a week previous to that , or 4 days or so , they had it sheduled as LIVE at 2pm on the saturday afternoon. Then thay just change it at will , and expect people not to get fed up with it .

And I know this isn't the CART forum, but their coverage of CART was awful. Apart from being showed at 11.30, the whole thing had atrociously jumpy sound quality, which is ridiculous when they had a week to correct it, Jeremy Shaw mysteriously disappeared at the end, they spent ages with Oriol Servia without asking him the questions I wanted to hear about the PWR thing, and they completely missed the huge puff of smoke from Da Matta's car immediately befor ehe came into the pits to retire. Truly inept

Yes.
Looks like it is being shown at different times for Hockenheim too.
Eurosport Intl has it at 5pm, while British Eurosport is showing it at 8pm.
