I can't give specific lap times, but it is a bloody quick car, a regular podium finisher against some very still outright competition on the local scene, and set on pole in the combined Super Tourer race at QR for the Power Tour, against some fairly decent competition..

Actually sounds too quick - lap record for Under 2 litre Sports Sedans at Winton is:
UNDER 2L Luke Mcpherson (FORD ESCORT RS1700) 1:31.6078 03/12/2000

I tried checking on the Winton site but there super duper, oh-so-good web master has deleted the links for such things as lap records, links, information etc!
That is the last fast time I have from the track and, as they only run at State Race meetings now - there weren't any state meetings oin 2002, so only 2001 would have been possible. Will check it for oyu anyway - but yes - would be about right - V8's is 1:23..4863.

Just check Winton's site and according to it Luke Mc's time in 2000 still stands (1:31.....)
