V8 Fan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Latest Aero Test.

This is a Post by The Chief @ Conrod.

Well the goss from the test is in and the boys are closer than ever.Whilst the results are pretty good as far as car to car are concerned whilst the loud pedal is depressed it all goes a brown colour once they are in angle gear. One with alledgedly around 20kg more down force on the coast down run.
With no one able to convince them to give the undertray a trim it seems that more testing will be required.By the time this was discovered the heavy hitters had departed and so no decsion was reached.Looks like a bit of independent testing will have to be carried out by the manufacturers to get either less on the one with more or more on the the one with less.

what the problem with giving the ford a bigger undertray or chopping holdens down to size, surely it cant be that big of a drama that they cant/wont do it

More to the point, it seems like more incompetancy by the powers to be. Maybe if they had of stayed til completion of test they might have had some answers.
If you are there to do a job, do the job i say.

NASCAR with all it's high speed oval racing does not have big front and rear spoilers. Why do V8 Supercars need them on our stop go circuits.

Toploader, It may not have hurt the spectator but I recall an XM Falcon with a severe case of oversteer doing an awful amount of damage to somebody's garage.

I think that there may have even been an XY travelling at speed without it's bonnet latched properly. Hey, where did everybody go?
Going back to the XM, just as well it wasn't the garage he was building, 15 years on and it still isn't finished.
