Having a year in Scholarship class with FGR seems to have been very helpful to the careers of Gary Paffet and Robbie Kerr, you could even add Robert Doornbos to that group. A year in scholarship class is a good very cost effective way to spend a drivers first year in F3, especially as running at the front of the class helps generate both confidence for the driver and publicity to help attract sponsors for the following year.
