Hey, go easy on DC. He's EERO's favourite driver, and we don't want to hear EERO cry

Satble driver, not prone to impetuosity but not in the same style as Mansell who would force the car to do things it shouldn't have. DC is a product of the "New Age" of F1 where the virtuosity of the driver is made less important by pit stategies and the SC. Racingthe world over is getting more like this.

Poor DC, hasn't learnt much from Mika or Kimi has he, more racing less talking.....
I reckon DC talks more off season than Kimi does in a year or even two !!!!

Jordan or BAR. More likely we'll see him in the US. How much longer does JV have to go like this?

I can only see DC in a shot of the title if MS is no longer on the scene. Apart from that he's too inconsistent, which has been a feature of his career in the lower formulae too.
At this level, if you want to beat Schumacher you have got to be on it every race, which DC isn't.
However, F1 without Schumacher would see an interesting battle between JPM, DC, Kimi and whoever led Ferrari.
I would still prefer it if DC just got on with it, and we didn't have to hear the same old cobblers every year - it's becoming a bit of a worn out record now.

Re: Coulthard still at Maclaren in 2011??!!!
Hi RWC, we meet again.
Well, actually he said in that article of yours that Mansell won a championship at 39 and that he sees him self driving at 40, that he hopes to win more races and that a championship would be nice.

Being WDC is loosely related with being fast, outscoring your teammate is more important.

And apparently, you enjoy being annoyed by him, since you still read about him and comment on it.

Bah, give the guy a break! He didn't say that he'll be at Macs, he didn't say that 2011 will be his year. He just said that if Mansell won a championship when at 39 he could race at 40. I can't find nothing wrong in it.
PS: Well I don't know about 14 WDC, perhaps he'll miss one or 2, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if Michael Schumacher would still be racing hard his red Ferrari in 2011!
