Silverstone changes.

A while ago a plan was presented to move the pits to the straight between Club and Abbey, and construct a new section between abbey and Brooklands, using sections of the international and national circuits.
Is this plan still going ahead, or has it been dropped in favor of some other improvements (i know the circuit just recieved a load of money from somewhere)

So are they ever gonna make the massive changes that they proposed or was that just to make them look like they were changing to stay on the calender?
