Kanaan grabs another pole
It seems Tony Kanaan is the man in qualifying this year as he has grabbed his second straight pole position at Pheonix.
great effort by kanaan and Im trying hard to find out the rest of the order to set the grid for the race.

great to see Buddy lazier back in the fold I know I will be supporting him and I think dissapointment for little Al and Robbie Buhl being so far down the grid.
and sam hornish as well way down in 17th.
lets hope its a great race , Pheonix usually is , I really like this little track.
for any Aussies reading this ESPN on Cable TV will show the race live at 7.30am on Monday morning.

Hornish is well down again. With the consistency we can expect from the likes of Ganassi and the Penskes, this year could soon turn into a write off for Sam. Just goes to show, if you don't have the car you're nowhere. Even outqualified by Sara.

Nice to see Fisher up there. A bit more consistancy and she could be really competitive.....and ahead of the reigning champion no less. Ace.

actually she was running second for a while, even though it was only cos she delayed pitting. she was there behind kanaan for a fair few laps in the second half of the race, definately got her a good amount of camera time. of course she couldnt pass kanaan but she sure made an effort...

Dunno, soon hopefully, she was always quick...on the podium in the 1999 Formula Ford Festival if I remember rightly.....if she gets the drive good on her.
