British GT Round 2

Well round 2 of the British GT's takes place tomorrow at Snetterton and the grid looks like this :-

The race is over 2 hours. Sadly the Jaguar XJ8 had to pull out with engine problems. Also missing are the Le Mans TVR's.

bit gutted that the Le Mans TVR's arent down there but it should be interesting... and bl**dy cold!!!!

the 2 hour race was a bit of a bore but give it time and more teams and we could be on to a winner.
the Ultima ran really well in third for an hour until the gear box expired. i was hoping that the Eclipse TVR would take the fight to the Moslers but a series of problems left them a lap behind and then finishing in third.

and shane sped in the pitlane. whoops. it hought it was a good race. shame we couldnt bridge the gap to balfe, but well get back later. dont forget that the blafe mosler had to start from the back after being disqualified from qualifying. how unluck is that ultima? did anyone see the cdl tvr after testeing, very nasty.

Yep, Steve was a very lucky boy there but the car held up very well indeed, flattened as far forward as the fuel cell!!

Jamie raced in Radicals last season.

There will be a profile on him on dsc in the next day or so.

He certainly seems to be performing well in GTs. Though, I have to say (albeit with regret) that the British GT series this year has few really top-class drivers, teams or cars. Perhaps inevitable, but I do think it's a shame.
