MP4-18A Pics Available
Crash.net seem to have some pictures of the new McLaren -
http://www.crash.net/f1/latestpix.as...&language_id=1
Pity you have to pay for them. Anyone seen them elsewhere?
The front wing looks very Ferrari-esque. Looks mega (to quote F1 Racing, or should that be giga now as they were doing in the last issue?) narrow at the front. It certainly looks quick!

It's looks fantastic, here's hoping that it can take it right up to those red cars and beat them. I love the front end

Oh..
Tht nose is definitelly short. And low.. The front wing definitelly does not look like Ferrari's, is the wavy wing tht we saw in preseason.
But it's the rear that actually intrigues me... It's either the photo unclear, or they do not have engine, gearbox and radiators at all.

Wow, looks nice. Pity the McLaren paint job hides most of the details. The front reminds me a bit of the PS01. Can't tell if the front wing is connected by the usual prongs from that angle though, or if it's a proper droop nose. Anyone?

I meant it looks Ferrari-esque because of the sharpe angles on it's trailing edge, but now it's larger I can see what you mean about the preseason wing.

Looks like it's got a single prong between the nose and the wing, centrally mounted, as far as I can tell. Anyone notice the weird chunks missing in the sideplates of the rear wing (just where the wing scoops up)...lots of detailing!
And those radiators get smaller every time I look at them!

Scared, Red?
This is the epitome of radical design! It'll either be a complete disaster, or Newey's magnum opus.

I've made this one lighter by fiddling the levels - bit easier to see details...
Front wing seems to be directly, or almost, aattached to the nose - so that's about as low as a nose could get.
Rear is ultra-tight - could even be as compact as the F2003GA.
Anyone spot the exhausts? Have they gone back to through the diffusor, or between the rear supsension?
Fabulous car.

I agree with Red, there are no exhausts because this car has no engine!
Looks pretty cool!

IMHO, it's ugly!
But, it's a Mac, so I must hope it'll grow to a beautifull swan
